EnMS development and implementation
Support the organisation to establish energy roles, processes, objectives, action tracking and review routines consistent with the applicable ST EnMS guidance.
Nordstern Synergy provides technical Registered Energy Manager (REM) and Energy Management System (EnMS) support for industrial and commercial energy consumers preparing for EECA 2024 responsibilities. Support is delivered within the agreed appointment, professional role and current Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements.
Under EECA 2024, applicable energy consumers must appoint a Registered Energy Manager, develop and implement an EnMS, submit EE&C reports and appoint a Registered Energy Auditor for the required energy audit. ST’s published guidance states that the prescribed energy consumer threshold is 21,600 GJ or more over twelve consecutive months. Check the current Act, Regulations and ST guidance to confirm whether and when the obligations apply to your facility.
A REM helps the organisation establish reliable energy information, monitor energy performance, coordinate the EnMS, support reporting and advise on energy-saving measures. The role is ongoing: it connects regulatory reporting with day-to-day decisions and improvement actions.

Nordstern’s team combines energy management with industrial utilities, process engineering, building systems and facility operations. That helps connect management-system requirements to how energy is used at the site—from boilers and steam systems to compressed air, chillers, production lines and thermal processes.
Specific deliverables, professional responsibilities, report sign-off and fees are agreed in the project proposal. Outcomes depend on the facility and the information available.
Share your facility type, energy use, EECA notice status and current energy-management arrangements. Nordstern can discuss the appropriate professional appointment and support scope.
